It’s time for the revival to begin.

What is happening in this world right now has given me a different type of compassion. Compassion for black people in America, who were kidnapped and sold into bondage, creating the infrastructure on what is now the most POWERFUL nation on earth(argue wid yo fadda on that one..LOL). They have never received compassion for their blood, sweat and tears poured into the nation but have been now met with the approval of a MENACE to conduct state sanction violence in the hands of the police.

Luke 13:32 Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox that I will keep on casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow; and the third day I will accomplish my purpose. 33Yes, today, tomorrow, and the next day I must proceed on my way. For it wouldn’t do for a prophet of God to be killed except in Jerusalem!

34“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me. 35 And now, look, your house is abandoned. And you will never see me again until you say, ‘Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!

It is through such scriptures that strengthen me during the revolution. I have wept and exercised anger to release it from my heart and flesh. I am ready to dismantle racism. I am over it and as a Black businesswoman, I am ready to hit them where it hurts, their pockets. That’s right, I understand the plight of Black Americans protesting on the streets and guess what it is working. It has caught many peoples attention. People are hungry for justice and although some may disagree with the actions taking place, we ought to have compassion for those who feel so voiceless and powerless that destruction is how they speak. What I will not do is cast judgement on them, because I see the cunning methods of the devil, divide and conquer. We all have to always remember we are all seeking justice and the dismantle of racism. Let’s just starting show other methods of seeking justice. I believe non-violent resistance can walk side by side to address the ending of racism.  Before Dr.King pass, he practiced civil disobedience frequently and divested in many companies who were not in support of black life. Divestment practices worked to dismantle Apartheid in South Africa. There are so many methods to lead us to the path of justice. Who ever is ready, please reach out.
